1994

Our Managing Director was investing in some property abroad and was looking at methods of communication back with the UK that was cheap and cost effective. Had been using the Internet for chat purposes and began to study the Internet in more detail, realising what a massive impact this was going to have on the world, scrapped buying a hotel and invested in a new company called then CIC (corporate Internet Connections), and so we were born.....

Webdesign

With skills allready held as a graphic designer and Managing Director of 2 other companies it was a role that he fell into comfortably and started team building with progammers and other graphic designers.

So the company was well underway now building web sites for clients across the UK, USA and Spain. However in 1996 we realised it was going to very important to have your web site found by people searching the web, and in Altavista (the engine of the time) there was only obviously a limited number of places (well 10 to be exact). So research began into Search Engine Optimisation and the company already began to lead the way in a new era of the Internet years before some companies even had web sites...!

ISP

Our offices started life as shared premises with a new ISP start up company in Blackpool called Virtual ISP. Giving us direct access onto the UK backbone it give us an advantage over all other web design companies at the time. We decided to relocate as Internet speeds got faster and in 1999 moved into a managed business centre in Blackburn where we still are to this day.

A managed centre is ideal for us as it has conference and boardroom facilities and it keeps down unneccesary overheads. As the company grew one of the senior programmers had expressed and interest in emmigrating to spain and as a result now runs our satellite office from just outside Benidorm.

Tomorrow

After surviving the dot com boom and all the other ups and downs we have had thrown at us, a decade later we come out more enthusiastic and stronger than ever with a massive portfolio of clients. We now have the experience, the knowledge, the history, and a track record to take us to the next level.

Pushing to expand on our UK major clientele and at the same time expanding into International companies who wish to promote in the UK markets.
